need to close deals and grow their
business, VMware provides them
with training, programs, marketing
kits, financing solutions, deal
management systems, and much
more, through several portals.
PARTNER PORTALS
Dispersed interactions over
disjointed and archaic experiences
were proving harmful to VMware
long term goal of of providing
greater satisfaction among partners,
leading to increased revenue and
sales.
Despite their great value to partners, VMware’s
portals were daunting to first-time visitors.
Without any introduction, it was often easy to get
lost in an ocean of features and content, leaving
their potentiasl unexplored.
As a result engagement levels had plenty of room
for improvement.
DESIGN THINKING
Our role required us to put on our design thinking hats, among many.
The number of portals, massive material
and resources on VMware’s Partner
network required a fine-grained targeted
approach.
The portals had to be positioned to
specific job roles both with partners and
within the organization, in order to help
partners truly understand what they
could gain from it.
SALES GAMIFICATION
We were tasked with creating experiences to increase sales through optimizing and motivating people’s feelings, making tasks a
fun.
We introduced sales gamification, tasks presented as a game rather than a
chore positively reinforce sales and
becomes more appealing and a driver
for increased engagement and
motivation.

Network is customized for
organizations that sell, build,
develop, or provide training
on VMware products and
solutions.
DESIGN SYSTEM
We worked with a hybrid team of designers and engineers as an end-to-end team across the
organization to define the interaction standards, design patterns and guidelines for crossdomain product teams.
We helped develop VMware's brand and design system to improve partner and business
workflows.
VMware is a global leader in cloud infrastructure and digital workspace technology
and accelerates digital transformation for evolving IT environments.
Partner are responsible for 80% of VMware’s revenue utilizing various platforms,
products and services to drive billions of dollars in business for the company.
We revamped VMWare's entire digital experience and brand identity to ensure all partner touch points with company positively reinforced the brand user experience, resulting in a more cohesive and coherent relationship.
